Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel

Brr.... diawal tahun dan diawal musim hujan gini, berasanya dingin banget di pinggiran kota gini. Jadi males sebetulnya buat balik ke Jakarta. Tapi apa boleh baut, liburan kan udah mau berakhir, dan kita harus balik menghadapi aktifitas kita lagi.

Review kali ini another Sunblock. Kali ini yang lokal aja, karena aku penasaran sama produk-produk lokalan. Apalagi harganya juga masih terjangkau. kira-kira Rp 45.000,- untuk 80 gr. Tapi biarpun Skin Aqua ini produk lokal, tapi dibuat atas lsensi Rhoto Jepang loh...... Apalagi di klaim sebagai sunblok no 1 di Jepang.
Yang jadi pilihanku adalah Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel. Karena kulitku berminyak, ya aku pilih ini, yang didedikasikan untuk Normal to Oily Skin. Sunblock ini ber SPF 30 PA++, cukuplah untuk pemakaian singkat sehari-hari. Jumlahnya juga lumayan mumpuni untuk daily use face & body.







Nah, yang aku suka juga, selain melindungi kulit dari matahari, sunblock ini juga sekalian melembabkan kulit kita karena mengandung bahan-bahan:
- Improved Hyaluronic Acid dan Collagen yang membantu melembabkan dan melembutkan kulit.
- Vit. B5, E dan C memberikan nutrisi kulit sehingga tetap halus dan lembut.
Oiya, sebelum dipakai, kocok dulu ya (walaupun aku juga suka lupa, hehe...)

Isinya memang gel-lotion berwarna putih. Kalau usah diratakan di kulit, ga akan whitecast kok. Bahkan hampir tanpa bau-bauan. Efeknya di muka kelihatan sedikit mengkilap berminyak gitu , jadi buat aku yang kulitnya dah berminyak jadi kelihatan oily banget, dan sedikit sticky juga Padahal ini buat oily skin loh ya.....





Untuk efek kelembabkannya sih so-so aja ya, secara tiap hari toh aku juga dah pake pelembab. Tapi efek perlindungannya kurang. Aku berasa kulit tetep aja gelap-gelap juga kalo abis keluar rumah, biarpun dah pake Skin Aqua ini. Tapi satu hal yang bikin aku ga suka, kulitku jadi kusam tiap kali abis pake sunblock ini. Dia dengan suksesnya oksidasi dikulitku. Jadi bukannya tambah putihan, malah tambah kucel ini muka. Thank God I use powder not only to make my skin matte, tapi juga buat nutupin kusamnya.

Well, dengan harga yang terjangkau sayangnya aku ga cocok pake Skin Aqua. Aku tetap cinta dengan HG Sunblock-ku, Biore or abis ini mau coba Sunprise-nya Etude.

L'oreal UV Perfect Long Lasting UVA/UVB Protector Anti Dullnes

Hello all..... again with sunblock things,even in the beginning of rainy season.
This time I would like to review about L'oreal UV Perfect Long Lasting UVA/UVB Protector Anti Dullness.





Why I get so curious about this Sunblock is because it has Mexoryl SX/XL Filters that provides photostable and board-spectrum UVA/UVB protection up to 12 hours. Moreover, as anti-pollution, it has Detoxyl to inhibit pollutants' fixasion on the skin; and Activa-Cell and powerful anti-oxidant complex to protect fells, elastin, and collagen fibers from free radical. Last but not least, it also has skin tone correction suitable for Asian skin tone.
A sunblock that's stays for 12 hours? With anti-pollution and anti-oxidant? It really someting, right? You can't find it in every sunblock. But hey, even it claimed stays up to 12 hours, I still reapply it though when I have to go outside.
Bay the way, have I told you that it has SPF 50+ / PA+++? Something I cannot miss.
I bought it around Rp 100.000,- for 30 ml in my favorite supermarket, but you may find it a little more costly in drugstore （＄０＄).

I have to admit, I like the packaging, it looks expensive, yet small and simple that easily fit on yout purse or pants' pockets for traveling.
It has light smell typical of sunblock. Well, it doesn't bother me.





The oily lotion has slightly purple colour for anti dullnes effect (i know it looks white, but trust me it is purlpe). Yup, you read it right, it's slightly oily for a hot, humid weather of Jakarta. Don't really trust the text written on the box says: "... absorbs quickly and leaves skin non greasy and non sticky". Once in a while I use it after L'oreal Revitalift Day Cream, and in midday, my face become so oily and sticky just like I've applied buttercream.



It doesn't give me whitecast, just a shine on my face. People with oily skin might find it annoying so it's better to use powder afterwards. And I can say the protection is quite good. But for anti dullnes, I cannot say anyting.



Overall, this sunblock offers something that doesn't any other sunblock have. I also love how it protects my skin, but I think it's more suitable for those who has dry skin that need more hydration, someone who like to skip moisturizer or who's spend most of her time in air-conditioned room.

Vaseline Healty Sunblock SPF 30

Hello all...... sumpah baru punya waktu dan peace of mind buat bikin review lagi saking repotnya renov rumah.
Kali ini aku kau bikin review tentang sunblock lagi....... well, because this is my must have skin care regime hehe (∩_∩) . Tapi bedanya sunblock yang ini gak aku pakai dimuka, tapi for body only. It is Vaseline Healty Sunblock SPF 30.
Ini adalah sunblok paling murah diseantero supermarket dan drugstore, dengan kisaran Rp 35.000 untuk 100 ml. Botolnya orange ngenjreng that you cannot miss.


Sunblock ini mengandung Yoghurt Protein dan Aloe Vera Extract yang masing-masing berguna untuk merawat dan melembabkan kulit. Selain SPF 30, ini juga board spectrum sunsceen PA++, jadi mencegah kulit kita dari penuaan dini, keriput, frecles dan teman-temannya.
"Non Sticky Water Resistant Sunblock Lotion" tertulis di label bagian belakangnya, well..... not waterproof tapi water resistant, jadi kalo kena keringat masih okelah, tapi kalau dah berenang, basuhan, cuci tangan dan lain-lain ya......... reapply lagi lah ya. Biarpun gak main air, tetap loh harus reaplly setelah 2 jam. Dipakai 10 - 15 menit sebelum beraktifitas dibawah matahari ya....

Then, what's inside? Isinya lotion putih dengan bau khas sunblock yang tajam. Awal-awal diaplikasikan agak blepetan putih-putih, jadi ya harus diratakan lagi.




Non Sticky? Mungkin iya, tapi yang jelas sunblock ini bikin kulit agak berminyakan. Nah, minyaknya itu yang bikin gak nyaman, apalagi kalau keringetan dibawah panasnya mentari, ya jadinya lengket-lengket juga kayak lepet baru mateng. Setelah aku test run kira-kira 15 menit dibawah matahari tengah hari bolong, kulitku yang terpapar tetap aja menggelap.

Well, memang sih ini sunblock paling murah yang ada, tapi dengan baunya yang agak annoying dan hasil yang kurang melindungi, mungkin lebih baik pakai body lotion yang mengandung board spectrum SPF dan PA saja. Karena menurutku Vaseline Healty sunblock ini gak lebih dari body lotion dengan SPF30 PA++. Pro:
- Harganya murah
- Gampang didapat di supermarket
- Water Resistant
- Board spectrum SPF 30 PA++

Cons:
- Bikin kulit berminyak.
- Bau sunblocknya tajam.
- Kurang melindungi kulit.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly SPF 30 PA+++

Hello........ I don't know why, recently I feel so lazy to write a review, mabye because the weather in Jakarta is sooo hot, makes me feel lazy doing anyting.

Well, now I would like to review Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Jelly SPF 30 PA+++. It's still from Biore UV Aqua Rich Range, but this one has the lowest spectrum among all, but can be used for face and body.

It cost around Rp 100.000 in drugstores, for 90 ml. Quite generous I think. Maybe because it meant for face and body.
The textue is jelly like lotion, with lemon scent and cooling effect, which refresh my face and skin.



Unlike Biore UV Aqua Rich watery foam , this one doesn't leave white cast, but takes a little time to makes it really sink in my skin. It takes about 10-15 minutes to make it really absorbed without any track of oilyness. If I was in hurry to put on powder or BB Cream, it seems like the powder blocks my face, or the BB Cream won't sink in my face and become cakey.

One thing I notice, even this one has the lowest spectrum, it shield my skin better than Aqua Rich Foam Base, which has SPF 50. My skin doesn't get darker after a mid-day walk.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse SPF 50+ PA+++

When I'm in quest to find the right sunblock, I found this one as hundreds' person HG. It's Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Mousse SPF 50+ PA+++ (^～^).

I read a lot of good reviews about this product, and found out that it is a perfect mate for oily skin. It's alcohol base sunscreen, but also has hyaluronic acid and citrus essence to keep skinh hydrated.
I bought this around Rp 133.000 in Guardian, for 33 gr. A bit pricey I think.

And here comes the testing time ..... the texture is.... mousse - of course.





I love the cooling sensation when it touches my skin, with light refreshing scent of citrus as well. It sinks in instantly and doesn't feel oily at all. Yay... . \(^▽^)/ I don't feel like using sunscreen. Maybe I can say it has some kind of oil control as well.
After application, it leaves some kind of titanium finish (wait, it was my gunpla (*^^*) ) I mean it give some sort of sheer metallic colour, some kind of white cast maybe, but it's kind of metallic. Well, I don't mind since it's still acceptable with my skin tone, it will gone after moments anyway.

I always use it after moisturizer, followed by pressed powder, and it makes my powder runs smoothly. It doesn't make my BB Cream cakey as well. After few days of usage, I realize it doesn't clog my pores. The hyaluronic acid also does it job well, since the sunscreen doesn't dries my skin even it is alcohol base.
But I don't think its protecting enough, because after a mid day outdoor walk, I realize that my cheek become a bit red. Well, too bad for such a high spectrum sunscreen like this.

Acnes UV Tint SPF 30 PA++

I never care about sunblock before, because I thought my skin is medium tone, and I already using face powder with sunscreen. But everything was changed since I use Hada Labo Gokujyun lotion and milk range. They makes my skin photosensitif, so I'm starting my quest to search sunblock. 

My first choice was Acnes UV Tint. I read alot of good reviews about this product, about how good it deal with oily and acne prone skin, so I gave it a try (my skin is not acne prone, but oily? Yes!) I bought it for IDR 39.900 in Watson. It has small and simple packaging that fit into bag or purse perfectly. It contains 30 gr, with SPF 30 and PA++ that's enough for daily use. It has sheer colour that sink in fastly and blend in perfectly on my face, without any trace of grease and keep my face matt. I also don't find "ashy-effect" like some bloggers do. I also like how it.gives me natural and neat looking. I don't bother use my powder anymore, except for going out. It can be used as makeup base as well. Yay! ლ('▽'ლ) What can't we love more than simpleness (^_-).

After using it for some time, I realize that this sunblock is not only suit for acne prone or oily skin only, but also quite moisturizing for dry skin.

But this sunblock does not work as good as  I expected. I still get sunburn! (´・｀). And it clong pores if you don't exfoliate regularly (i alwalys double cleanse my face, but it still has the tendency to clong my pores).

Acnes UV Tint is a very good sunblock for daily use, with reasonable price. But never forget to deep cleanse.
