Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner Hot Pink

Hello guys, I will do another review about eyeliner AGAIN, but this time it's my enemy, liquid eyeliner.
Liquid liner always be nightmare to me, I always look weird with it. Moreover, my shaky hands make more difficult to apply. So I decided to face my fearsome problem. Since I'm not really confident with black liquidliner, then I give a coloured one a try.

It's Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner (The official name on their web is Eyestudio Hyper Glossy Runway Pop Color Liner).



They have 5 colours -excluding black- which are, Turquoise Blue, Tangerine Orange, Navy Blue, Khaki Green and Hot Pink. And I choose the pink one.
Maybelline claims it stays for 24 hour, waterproof and smudgeproof ⊙▂⊙.
It cost nearly Rp 50.000 on Guardian. I like the slim brush, it helps me make a thin line.



But the colour, it's Pink! I mean, I know it's pink, but I didn't realize it's that shocking pink (I didn't put a tester when I bought it because I was in my full makeup and in a hurry).
The colour is so pigmented, and I love it after I get used to it. Unfortunately when I apply on my lid, I sense chemical feeling, feels like a sting and tired eyes (I have sensitive eyes).
It really dries quickly, trully waterproof and smudgeproof. I still see it on my lid even after having a bath or wash my face.

Well, if you like colourful make up and like to combine them, and don't have sensitive eyes, maybe this eyeliner fits you. Have fun (⌒▽⌒)☆.

Silkygirl Funky Eyelights Pencil in #04 Pure Purple

Akhirnya, dapat juga eyeliner ini di Guardian. Silkygirl Funky Eyelights Pencil ini warnanya banyak dan keren-keren, tapi aku cuma nemu yang Pure Purple dan Frosty Silver, so aku coba aja yang Pure Purple.


Biarpun Silkygirl produk Malaysia, tapi di Funky Eyelights Pencil ini made in Germany loh.

Kemasannya juga bagus, base pencilnya hitam, bikin terlihat lebih classy.
Banyak yang me-review bahwa eyeliner ini bagus, awet dan sebagai-sebagainya, tapi terus terang aku gak percaya. Eyeliner drugstore dengan harga Rp 45 ribuan, masa sih sebagus itu? Then, I have to admit I was wrong. Pertama kali test run, it glides smoothly on my lid. Empuk dan agak creamy mirip crayon. Warnanyapun pigmented.
Aku tes di eyelidku yang berminyak tanpa primer, eysehadow atau apapun dari jam 1 hingga jam 6 masih bertahan hampir tanpa smudge.
Then, waterproof test. Aku swatch ditangan beberapa saat setelah pakai botlot.
Lalu ditinggal ngemil cotton candy sama my lil princess, trus cuci tangan yang belepotan cotton candy, ngepel sisa-sisa cotton candy di lantai pake tangan trus cuci piring tatakannya si candy. Inilah hasilnya. Masih tetap awet.

Di eyelid aku bawa mandi plus pake facial wash masih tetap bertahan. Baru hilang sepenuhnya setelah pakai make-up remover.
Mungkin pendapat bahwa barang murah gak ada yang bagus gak berlaku kali ini, dengan harga yang gak mengiris dompet, aku masih dapat eyeliner dengan kualitas bagus.

Viva Eyeliner Pencil in Blue

Hello....... lama tak bersua, karena daku lagi ngak mood untuk bikin review.
Finally........ nulis juga, kali ini tentang produk murah meriah yang sebetulnya sudah lama bikin penasaran, tapi masih ragu untuk dibeli, which is Viva Eyeliner Pencil in Blue.




Harganya murah abis, Rp 19.000 bentuknya ya dari kayu, mirip pensil warna anak-anak hehe.
Awal- awal pemakaian, sumpah ini eyeliner paling keras dan kering yang pernah aku coba. Udah aku coba raut, tetep aja kering banget. Warnanya juga gak keluar di eyelid, hingga aku swatch berapa kali tau sampai berasanya eyelid ini mau lecet. Hasil aplikasinya juga kurang smooth, mungkin karena texturenya yang kering dan chalky. Tapi staying powernya lumayan, di eyelid aku yang berminyak bertahan kira-kira 4 jam tanpa base dan eyeshadow. Sedikit smudge, tapi masih bisa aku tolerir. Dibawa cuci muka atau mandi juga gak ilanh, asal jangan digosok.

Beberapa kali dipakai, sudah nggak sekeras pemakaian pertama sih, tapi tetep aja keras dan kering banget. Butuh berapa kali swatch supaya warnanya keluar. Memang, kalau sudah keluar en nempel, warnanya biru kereng bagus, tapi sepertinya gak sebanding dengan penderitaanku deh

Mavala Eye-Lite Khol Kajal Pencil

I was looking for a medium lasting eyeliner, the one that to be used just for a short outgoings. Since I am me, I want something with intens colour. I inteded to buy a white one, but it's gonna be a waste I'm affraid, since I already have one from Etude. Then this blue colour looked shining in front of me. It was Mavala Eye-Lite Khol Kajal Pencil in Bleu Argenté with metallic blue shade.

The swatch

I bought in from Watson, for around 89.000 idr. But, the pencil is hard to use, and doesn't slide as smooth as I expected. It's not suppose to be kajal, in other hand a bit chalky (or should I say dry?) I have to slide it few times on my upper lid to have it pigmented.
The staying power is good, last about two hours, longer than that, I have to retouch. I can say it waterproof, washing face with water (and only water) won't erase it, as long as u don't rub it.

After having a bath. A bit blur

After bath and body lotion. Gone 

With single use -without primer and eyeshadow- it smudge over my oily eyelid. It stamping the colour to my upper lid. Well, the smudge is less visible when I use eyeshadow.
I'm not expecting a kajal will be this hard and chalky. Maybe for some dry or normal skin, this eyeliner tends to be waterproof, but not for oily one.

Note 18 November 2013:
After few times using and sharpening, this eyeliner becomes less chalky and soften a little bit

Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner

For those a has oily lids like me, know how hard to find perfect pencil liner that does not smudge. Then, I read an article in a local beauty forum that gave me an answer to my long time question. It was Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner


It becomes my HG eyeliner since then. I have two shades, #42 Gris Tecktonik and #44 Golden Grey Session, which both are so pigmented.

The swatches

Gris Tecktonik is a metallic dark grey -a bit teal- colour with a bit sparkling in it. I think it will pop up fair skin tone and looks good in dark tone. While Golden Grey Session is a green base colour with golden touch - without any grey in it. I think it will look stunning for dark skin tone.
The staying power is great that facial foam is not enough to erase it.

Even after bath, the colour still stay

I use Maybelline make up remover instead.
Feels like crayon liner, it slide smoothly and softly in my lids. So soft that it blunt fast. Non allergic as well, so my sensitive eyes don't have problems with it.
