Skinfood Blanc Pearl Caviar Gift Set

Hello everyone, tonight is CNY eve, the moment where parents get broke and children get rich. Hahaha...

Anyway, I'm going review a skin care giftset, because it's so tempting to use giftset instead of buying the full size.
Now, it's gonna be Skinfood Blanc Pearl Caviar Gift Set that contains toner and emulation.

emulsion

As written on the label, it formulated for Skin Brightening and Anti Wrinkle Effects. It contains pearl extract, white complex, and caviar extract. I don't know how much it is on the tube, but the seller told me it was 5 ml, and can last around 10 days, depends how much you use it at once.
One thing I really hate, it's so difficult to make the emulsion get out of the tube. Maybe because the consistency is so thick. It takes time to fully absorbed, makes my skin a bit sticky and takes more time for my other skin care routine. After about a week using it, I don't see any change of my skin. It keeps dull and dark as it was. And I am going to change to another line of Skinfood Skincare.

Skinfood Watery Berry Blending Cream

I got this shacet sample from Zaturashop, as a complimentary when I ordered my nail polishes. At first, I didn't know what it is and how to use it, so I googled a little bit.
So, it's a combination of cream and gel that you have to blend together for application.
"After serum/emulsion application, disperse the clear gel and cream care in a 2:1 ratio on the back of your hand. Mix well and apply to skin. Adjust the blending ratio of the gel and cream care depending on your skin type and condition." That's how to do it. Okay, but how can I disperse 2:1 then? Well, I just put them in a small jar and mix them together, because from what I see, the ratio from the sachet is already 2:1. Actually it is recommended for oily skin to put more gel, while for dry skin more cream.

Maybe what makes it special is what it made from. "Berries Story : Cloudberries, lingonberries, and raspberries from Lapland, a region famous for its Santa Claus Village, provide superior antioxidant properties.
Hyaluronic Acid Story : Hyaluronic acid holds up to 30 times its weight in water, transforming dry skin into a soft, glowing texture."

The mixture itself has strong musky smell, which I personally think a bit overwhelmed. But I was surprise by how fast it sinks in my skin, it feels instantly. It also has good oil control that can keep my face matt for about 4-5 hours, yet moisturizing it in the same time. I feel my skin soft and hydrated, even due to environmental change (I have oily-sensitive skin that easily dry out to peel off).

Pros:
- Suit for all skin types, especially oily type
- Good oil control that leave a matt look
- Hydrating skin

Cons:
- Stong musky smell
- Have to mix the gel and cream, a bit bothering

Recomended: Yes

Skinfood Black Raspberry Eye Cream (Wrinkle Care)

I get this sachet size eyecream as a complimentary gift from Riebutik (that's why I love to shop at Riebutik). I already use eyecream since a decade ago - maybe, because I have genetic eye-bag. So, I'm glad to have this as a gift, because I know, it will be useful. Especially its a wrinkle care eyecream. Even I don't have wrinkles or fine lines in eye area, but as a woman in my age, I think I really need this.
"This functional eye cream rapidly enhances resilience around your eyes." That's what written in the back of the sachet.

It has pale pink colour with strong scent of black raspberry - which to me more like wood forest smell. I don't really mind about it, because I apply it on my around my eyes, so I barely smell it.
The texture is cream, which needs a little time to absorb. But after it sinks in, it doesn't have any oilyness at all. I use it just like I use my ordinary eye cream, with patting on the lid and small pinch below my eye. And what I do feel is my eyes area is smoother. It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes as well.
But, since I don't have wrinkles or fine lines, and I ony have the sachet size, I can't tell wether it can reduce wrinkles or not.

For you who interested to buy this product in normal size (25gr) it costs around Rp 200.000 - 250.000 depends on the online shop. a  bit pricey I think

Pro:
- Softening eye skin
- Doesn't irritate sensitive eye

Cons:
- Takes time to absorb and eliminate the oily feeling
- Strong smell for some people
- Pricey

Recommended: Yes

Repurchase: I think I want to give another brand a chance
